I went up today.  It was many things.  I did get a better feel for the plane and even helped to land it.  More to come.

Dragon Scales of Balance

Today I am going to write about balance as suggested by my Facebook friends. One thing that comes to mind is a scale.  There was an old scale at my step-grandfather's house.  There were round gold looking weights on one end that were stacked up in a nested fashion one smaller then the one underneath it.  On the other side there was usually some nuts with a nut cracker beside the nuts so that one could could crack open the shelled nuts, usually walnuts if I recall correctly.  This was is Stone Mountain, Georgia where they throw lights on the mountains of the Confederate generals in a display of celebration during summer light shows set to music. This Is The Revolution

Greetings.   Today is another day.  That sounds a little depressing, but actually it was a pretty good day.   I am meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow.   I met some folks today while driving.  Some people like to complain to me about their work.  It was an interesting complaint though.  This fellow I Lyfted works at the Greensboro Urban Ministry.  He was complaining about people who come to the center for lunch and complain about the lunch.  He seems to know that some of the big time complainers are people who have a house and a car and maybe a job, I do not know, and come to get a free lunch.  Whereas the people who are actually homeless and need the meal do not complain.  I said that maybe the meal should only be open to people who actually need it but that maybe that would be hard to police but still, seems like a free lunch for people who are homeless and really need it should be just for them, not the complainers...
